Dover Youth Sports
There are many life lessons in team sports—overcoming adversity, accountability, and teamwork. Youth sports are a safe haven for those who may not have the best home life. Many times, youth sports can be the only thing holding someone back from taking the wrong path.
Dover DECA
Many of the JPS team have children who are in the Dover community and attend Dover schools. As community members and a local business, it is important for us to foster the growth and success of the next generation, especially in public schools where budgets are often lacking.
Suicide Prevention
I have had a close family member die by suicide, in addition to knowing several teenagers who have succumbed to their mental illness. Teenagers tend to be impulsive. I feel the more the topic is discussed without prejudice, the more likely a person considering harming themselves would feel comfortable to reach out. - Samantha Slater
